Residents of the resort town, three teenagers - Roma and his friends Denis and Lera - dream of making a horror movie. They are casting for the role of a villain - they need a real monster. The choice falls on the bandit Bochu, who, on the orders of his boss, the criminal authority Tertoy, robbed a bank in order to steal a flash drive with secret information from there.

The film is an ideological continuation of the life of the heroes of the television series "Brigade". However, the emphasis is shifted to the story of Alexander Belov's son, Ivan. This is a movie about modern Russia. About what is on everyone's lips: politics, corruption, cynicism of big business and special services. About the new generation, which, having learned the truth about the unclean business of their parents, does not follow in their footsteps, but chooses a new path. The concepts of honor, love and homeland are dear to them. The hero, who lived comfortably abroad, nevertheless chooses Russia (as opposed to the TV series) and stays in it, hoping to bring these ideals into the lives of his loved ones and the country as a whole.
